Alina Belyagina „The metric dance. Sappho”
The time spent at residency is meant not only for work on movement and text, but also for analysing the historical aspects of dance today, searching for personal position in that environment.
I work on theme of ancient Greek texts, especially written by Sappho
The melica (Greek lyric verse) is our music and our metric system (Sapphic stanza)
I try to understand who is more important on stage – is it the dance or the text
I try to build connections between artists using mathematical metric space
I work with rhythms, time, distance and relationship between movies and Greek lyric verse (melica)

Ruta Ronja Pakalne „Tehnoloogia versus keha“/ “Technology vs. body”
Revealing oneself by taking a long look at the quality of state of mind and movement.
The main idea of this performance and its set design is to use modern display technology combined with the choreography of the dancer. Technology versus body.
Involving video and projection – in order to show the body as an actual object that functions with its non-defined gender, and loses its emotionality or sexuality.

Keity Pook “Puudutus”/„Touch“
„I don’t want to fear something as human as touch is. I want my decision to touch and be touched to be independent of my body. I want to explore touch, go deeply into its essence, understand its power, impact, aftermath. Where does mental touching start? Where does physical touching start? Which came first?”
Keity invited Lauri Mäesepp to her residency and they occupy themselves with preparations to be touched and touch. Key words are concentration, awareness, will, breaking free.”

Sigrid Savi „Omailm“/”Umwelt”
„I will work on Umwelt, personal space around a person, studying how it functions within the field of alien rhythms. I embody my experience and try to reach the result which is benevolent and absolute.“

Kadri Sirel „Vaata mind, usu mind, ma olen pühak“/”Look at me, take my work – I am a saint”
„Starting point is to explore the phenomenon of ritual as a process of creating authority. Sanctity as one feature of authority – it comes forth when all parties have agreed on the terms conduct and focus their attention. We don’t consider sanctity to be absolute, it’s rather a status which needs participants to get involved, as sanctity comes to life through rituals.
In cooperation with a musician Kaarel Kuuse and artist Helena Keskküla we experiment on sound techniques, material and movement through which to prepare the space for ritual and the people taking part in it. We make tools for the state of sanctity to emerge.“
